A Different Dog offers One to One Puppy Training in the comfort and convenience
of your own home (or other suitable venue) to tackle any typical puppy issues
​ ​and help you train your new puppy with the key skills that they will need in life.

Typical training issues could include:

  • ​​Walking on a loose-lead (not pulling)
  • Recall (coming back when called)
  • Controlled greetings (not jumping up)
  • Coming away from distractions
  • Food manners and self control ​
  • Children and puppies together
  • Socialisation/ habituation experiences
  • Teaching of new skills
  • Advice on avoiding problems later in life
  • Support with typical puppy issues (eg. play biting and house training)
  • Any other training issues you want to address​​

I can’t recommend Gretta highly enough. We booked a 1-2-1 session because our puppies were constantly eating their poo and we’d tried every tip we found in training books to no avail. Gretta was absolutely brilliant: she’s genuinely in a different league to most of the trainers/dog experts we’d looked at online in terms of her knowledge and experience. She asked us lots of questions to work out the cause, gave us a plan of action and it started working from the moment we tried it. Nine days later and we have probably cut the poo eating by about 90%. We are working on the other 10%! There are no words to describe our gratitude!  If we ever have any other doggy behaviour issues, Gretta will be the first person I contact.  Thanks a million, A Different Dog!
